    ₦5 million NGO Support Initiative Grant Program

    The NGO Support Initiative Grant offers an award of ₦5 million to support the activities of non-governmental organizations that are planning to execute impactful activities for young Nigerians.

    The NGO Support Initiative (NSI) Grant offers a virtual training program on project management, evidence-informed advocacy, financial accountability and compliance, and social behavioural change communication.

    The NGO Support Initiative (NSI) Grant is an initiative of the Development Research and Projects Centre (dRPC).

    The dRPC is Nigeria’s leading intermediary non-profit with 32 years of experience sub-granting and strengthening capacity for local CSOs working for gender equality, third sector resilience, and social justice & inclusion in development and humanitarian domains.

    The dRPC is implementing the NSI with the kind support of the Ford Foundation (Office of West Africa), Nigeria.

    Eligibility Requirements for NGO Support Initiative (NSI) Grant 2025

    To be considered for the NGO Support Initiative Grant, you must:

    • This award is only open to registered NGOs; not to individuals.
    • The EoI calls for full disclosure on the leadership and management of the NGO applying, but it is not mandatory that NGOs be women-led
    • The minimum requirement for the NGOs registration and active programming for the NSI is 5 years.
    • NGOs from any LGA or state in Nigeria are eligible to apply
    • All grant awards must be completed in 3 months. Your application should attach evidence of an invitation to apply, a call for proposal, or evidence that the platform for submission no longer exists for consideration.

    Benefits of NGO Support Initiative Grant 2025

    • Awards are for a maximum of N5,000,000.00, therefore, the proposed budget of your organization will be considered once submitted.
    • Successful NGOs are required to participate in a 4-module virtual training program on project management, evidence-informed advocacy; financial accountability and compliance; and social behavioural change communication.
    • High-performing NGOs that excel in this grant will be recommended to social impact investors for scale-up and sustainability support.

    The Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission Bursary seeks to seeks to support indigent students from oil-producing areas of Delta State with financial aid for their academic careers.

    The Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) is pleased to announce the opening of its 2025 Bursary Program, aimed at supporting the educational pursuits of qualified Delta State students

    The DESOPADEC’s bursary program is designed to support students from oil-producing areas in tertiary institutions across Nigeria and beyond.

    This program aims to strengthen human capital and advance education in oil-producing communities. It focuses on cultivating a skilled workforce that will lead Delta into the future.

    Requirements for Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission Bursary

    To be considered for the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission Bursary, you must:

    • Be an indigene of Delta State from Ijaw, Itsekiri, Urhobo, Ika, Isoko, or Ndokwa oil producing communities/areas.
    • Be a full-time undergraduate in a Nigerian University or Polytechnic
    • Be in 200 level or above at the time of application
    • Not be a part-time, pre-degree, or postgraduate student

    Benefits of DESOPADEC Bursary Application 2025

    The DESOPADEC Bursary amount is between the sum of ₦20,000 and ₦50,000 for selected candidates.
