    The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) has announced applications for the ITF/NECA Technical Skills Development Programme 2025.

    The ITF Technical Skills Development Programme 2025 is an intensive 9-month training programme on Technical Skills Development in the fields of Mechanical/Automation Maintenance & Engineering, Quality Assurance and Logistics & Distribution.

    The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), in collaboration with Nigerian Breweries Plc, invite application from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential to undertake an intensive 9-month training programme on Technical Skills Development.

    The ITF Technical Skills Development Programme offers training in the fields of Mechanical/Automation Maintenance & Engineering, Quality Assurance and Logistics & Distribution.

    The primary objective of ITF-NECA Technical Skills Development Project and training programmes is the acquisition of relevant knowledge, practical skills and attitudes for employment and entrepreneurship in a particular trade or occupational area.

    The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) have successfully implemented the Technical Skills Development Project (TSDP) since 31st March 2009.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To be considered for the ITF Technical Skills Development Programme, you must:

    • Credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
    • Higher National Diploma of the following (For Mechatronics – Packaging, Brewing & Utilities Operations and Corrective Maintenance):
      • Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Physics, Instrument Engineering or Computer Engineering, with a minimum of Lower credit from recognized and accredited institutions.
    • National Diploma in any of the following (For Quality and Logistics Operations): Chemical Engineering, Biological and Physical Sciences, Food Science Tech, Laboratory Science, Applied Physics with a minimum of Lower credit from recognized and accredited institutions.
    • Graduated not earlier than 2022. • Must have completed NYSC as at time of this advertisement.

    • Trainees will not be entitled to a salary during the period of training. They will only be entitled to a monthly stipend.

    The NGO Support Initiative (NSI) Grant is an initiative of the Development Research and Projects Centre (dRPC).

    The dRPC is Nigeria’s leading intermediary non-profit with 32 years of experience sub-granting and strengthening capacity for local CSOs working for gender equality, third sector resilience, and social justice & inclusion in development and humanitarian domains.

    The dRPC is implementing the NSI with the kind support of the Ford Foundation (Office of West Africa), Nigeria.

    Eligibility Requirements for NGO Support Initiative (NSI) Grant 2025

    To be considered for the NGO Support Initiative Grant, you must:

    • This award is only open to registered NGOs; not to individuals.
    • The EoI calls for full disclosure on the leadership and management of the NGO applying, but it is not mandatory that NGOs be women-led
    • The minimum requirement for the NGOs registration and active programming for the NSI is 5 years.
    • NGOs from any LGA or state in Nigeria are eligible to apply
    • All grant awards must be completed in 3 months. Your application should attach evidence of an invitation to apply, a call for proposal, or evidence that the platform for submission no longer exists for consideration.

    • Awards are for a maximum of N5,000,000.00, therefore, the proposed budget of your organization will be considered once submitted.

    AFREXIMBANK Internship Program offers good students a chance for an internship with the Bank, it is expected that they will leave with a better knowledge of the Bank’s mandate and operating model, which they will put to use as they develop their careers, no doubt with direct benefits to the Bank and generally, to trade in Africa.

    The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) is a Multilateral Financial Institution established for the purposes of financing and promoting intra and extra-African trade.

    The Internship is open to students who are nationals of the Bank’s member countries a list of which is available on the Bank’s website.

    The program attracts a lot of highly qualified candidates. Entry into the program based on merit.

    Eligibility Requirement

    • Open to students with proven enrollment in full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study programs in a recognized institution of learning in the year of the internship is preferred. The Bank will be especially interested in candidates whose field of study is in the following fields: economics, business administration, finance, accounting, social sciences, statistics, law, or related fields;
    • Nationals of the Bank’s member states;
    • Fluency in English or French and a working knowledge of the other. Knowledge of Arabic or Portuguese will be an added advantage; and
    • Candidates must be aged between 20 and 32 in the year in which they apply for the internship;
    • Any other applicants as may be approved by the President;
    • Children of Afreximbank staff are not eligible to participate in this program.

    Duration and Reward

    Interns are expected to take care of their own upkeep during their internship program including accommodation, meals, transport, clothing, medical and group personal accident insurance.

    However, the Bank will, on gratis terms, provide the following to successful interns:

    • Before commencement, coverage of reasonable return fare transport costs to their internship location using the most economic and direct routing from their institution of learning, in line with the Bank’s travel policy;
    • A monthly tax-free stipend of USD $800 payable at the end of each month, to help defray living costs;
    • Accommodation in a hotel chosen by the Bank (bed and breakfast only) for one week during the induction period, on arrival to the internship location for interns, based on their previous location;
    • Transfer to the hotel on arrival and vice versa on departure at the end of a successful internship program; and
    • Relevant visa for the duration of the internship program, if so required.

    Required Documents

    Applicants are required to complete an online internship application form along with the following:

    • Letter of application;
    • copy of their current CV;
    • copy of valid passport ;
    • certified copies of relevant academic certificates;
    • recommendation for internship from the institution of learning that they are attending. This should include the proposed period of internship up to a maximum of six months;
    • Short Statement of Intent (maximum of 1 A4 page) indicating what they expect to gain out of the internship program;

    Once accepted, successful candidates will be given two weeks within which to accept a conditional offer from the Bank, or else it will expire.

    During this period, they will be expected to show evidence of the possession of medical insurance and group personal accident cover that is valid in Egypt (or their given internship location) during their period of internship.

    Failure to provide this before the start of the internship will lead to automatic withdrawal of the offer.

    Interns will be expected to start their internship within the first month of each internship season.
